About the Doctor

After completing his undergraduate studies in 1975 at San Diego State University, Dr. Steve Gilbertson obtained his dental degree from Northwestern University four years later, graduating with honors and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He received his orthodontic specialty training at UCLA, where he graduated in 1984 with a Certificate in Orthodontics.

In addition to being active in his church and community, Dr. Gilbertson is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Gilbertson and his wife, Michelle, have one child. In his free time, he enjoys racquetball, skiing and collecting vintage cars.
